Stick to what you know

Stick to what you know

What I have always found over time is to stick to what you know.

One of the things that I have always try to sick to is keeping things Plain and Simple. Today there are so many ways to achieve things especially with up to day technology, *CAD and 3D Printing etc any thing is possible.

But yet the skills of being able to use a piece of paper and a pencil are being lost.

So many people are jumping in to buying the new tech on the market only to sell it a month later due to it sitting in a corner of the room and not being used or not knowing how to use it in the first place.

One thing that I am trying to get more into his 3D Printing, *CAD, Graphics Art and Design.

Since home schooling my children we have spent most days just sitting on the floor with mega blocks and building things or, painting with paper, making play dough and mod-rock..

I miss this, not working with my hands, holding an object, seeing it come to life in front of you.

In the IT world you work backwards you have to see the 3D object and design it before being able to physically touch it.

This is something that I struggle with. I can plot out a template to make a box on paper using graph paper but not on a computer screen using *CAD soft where.

Where is my HeArt Now?

Where is my HeArt Now?

Over the last few years I have really been trying to get back into my art.

The now thing that I do not like doing is mass produced products where you are paid fro a piece of art work per unit.

One thing that I have always loved is the opportunity to make one off pieces of art work that people can enjoy.

The only problem with that is that nothing is ever really unique or one offers any more.

Where ever you look at great works of art you can now find copies of them on pretty much any thing in the world.

So what I have chosen today is to keep all of the original pieces of art work that I have created at this moment in time just for myslef and I am looking at sell photos of them on line.

I am also looking at selling a few one off pieces of work again in the future but not until I have built up my portfolio of work first.
